If you ever strolled down an asian grocery market, you're probably familiar with those white rabbit candies wrapped in a edible film. If not, not to worry! We've put together a special recipe to excite your palate! This is where grassy matcha meets sweet and milky!
Equipment
- 1 Small stove pot with lid
- 1 Bamboo whisk
- 1 Metal Whisk
- 1 Serving cup
- 1 Small shallow bowl
Ingredients
- 4-6 pieces White rabbit candies
- 200 ml Oat milk or your choice of milk
- 1/2 cup Ice *optional
- 2 tsp Ceremonial grade matcha powder
- 50 ml Hot water

Instructions
- In the stove top pot, gently pour in your choice of milk. Unwrap 4-6 white rabbit candies and add them directly in the pot.
- Stir the milk mixture with the metal whisk until it is completely dissolved. Remove the pan from the heat and set aside.
- Prepare the matcha shot by adding the ceremonial grade matcha powder into the small shallow bowl, followed by the hot water. Using the bamboo whisk, whisk the matcha shot in a "W" shape motion until a small layer of foam has formed.
- Hot:Assemble your drink by pouring your milk mixture into a serving cup and top it off with the matcha shot. Give it a good stir before sipping!Iced:Add the ice cubes into the serving cup, followed by the milk mixture . Gently pour in the prepared matcha shot and stir!
Notes
Useful Tips:
When dissolving the white rabbit candies with milk, it can take some time before the mixture is well combined!
